2009 was another big year for the Carlson Gracie Team world wide and it was no different here in Australia. With students traveling around the world to Brazil and America and competing interstate here in Australia.
The students became champions in all the different states of Australia they travelled to both in Gi and No Gi competition. In several comps they even took out both categories fighting from Tasmania to Queensland.
Students also won the qualifying event for the up coming Abu Dhabi Pro Jiu-jitsu comp to be held in April 2010. With all there expenses being paid for to travel overseas we know they will represent Australia very well.
With the academy growing fast the future looks really good for 2010 with plenty more gold on the way.
Carlson Gracie is due back here in Australia again early in the New Year as he had a great time on his last visit and likes to catch up with the students and teach.
Hope to see you all on the mat soon to welcome all the new students onto the mat in the New Year.
