Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu builds resilient, respectful kids. We've been running children's classes in Windsor since 2002: Jr Bulldogs (4–9) and Sr Bulldogs (10–14).
Foundational movement, games, listening, and self-defence basics, taught through fun, structured activities. Younger kids learn confidence and respect in a class designed for their attention span and energy level.
The transition from foundational movement into real BJJ technique. Older kids build technical depth, train positional sparring, and (for those interested) compete locally. Mental toughness is the by-product.
BJJ stands out from other martial arts and team sports for a specific reason: it teaches kids how to handle physical conflict without striking. There's no punching. No kicking. The whole art is built around control, leverage, and de-escalation. That makes it uniquely well-suited to children, and uniquely effective against bullying.
